Welcome to JoannaCassidy.com.  I am happy to have this site to share my work with you.  For those of you who have followed my career over the years or are just newly acquainted with my work, I've posted many of my favorite photos, that may have not been made public before.

The Filmography page includes artwork and detailed descriptions of the movies, as well as an opportunity to go into in-depth pages on movies with publicity stills, some peeks behind the scenes, and soon, a video clip of my favorite scene.  There is a Modeling page from my early days as a fashion model.  Some of you will recall those wild clothes, big eyelashes and unique hairdos!

Near and dear to my heart is the Activism page.  I love animals and there is so much we can do to help them.  A few years ago I was privileged to accompany "Flora", an African elephant who had been performing in a circus for 20 years, to her new home at the Elephant Sanctuary.  Watch her trip from Florida to Tennessee and find out what you can do to help the sanctuary.  I am also wild about birds.  Soon this site will include a very special person - "Doc" Lawrence, and his sanctuary of over three hundred parrots.

For those of you that are photography enthusiasts, I've designed a portion of my website for my own photography.  It is my passion and hobby, something I greatly enjoy.  I will be rotating the exhibit several times a year, and from time to time, offer my own prints for

sale in the Shop section.  I'd really appreciate your feedback on my photography.  In the Shop section you will also find my "Laugh" tapes for sale. They say "laughter is the best medicine" and I believe it's true.

Joanna has just finished filming THE HUMAN CONTRACT about a successful corporate type harboring a deep, dark secret befriends a free-spirited stranger who encourages him to ditch his stuffy lifestyle and live life in reckless abandon. The film also stars Jada Pinkett Smith and Ted Danson.  Check back for more info shortly.

Joanna as also completed filming the movie BOY IN THE BOX, scheduled to be released sometime in 2008.

Joanna has just finished filming an episode of the NBC series HEROES.

Joanna has re-shot her scenes from the original BLADE RUNNER movie.  Joanna wore her original outfit (which she kept over from the first production).  These new scenes will be part of the upcoming special BLADE RUNNER DVD re-release.   Joanna attended the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday 27, 2007 for a special preview of the 25th anniversary BLADE RUNNER final cut, as well as joining Ridley Scott, Sean Young, Joe Turkel, James Hong (designer and visual futurist), Syd Mead, Mark Stetson (special effects guy) and DVD producer Charlie De Lauzirka for a panel about the upcoming DVD release.  Visit the News page for more information on the film's theatrical release as well as more information about the DVD release.

Joanna attended the the world premiere of KISS THE BRIDE at the closing of the Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles on July 23, 2007.  Visit the News page for more information.
